Don't contact your ex's family or friends. This one mistake alone can kill any chance you have of getting your ex back. Expecting others to intervene on your behalf is immature and pointless.
Don't go to places where you know your ex is likely to be unless they know you will show up. As much as you try and make it appear coincidence, practically everyone will see right through your act. No one likes someone who becomes a nuisance. Worse, you may be seen as a stalker.
